Barbara has supported Training Ways courses for a number of years. Professional Support & Mentoring Workshops, and Family support with courses and topics in ‘Family Life on the Floor’ and ‘The emotional health of the Family’ have been part of her service to families and professionals. She has supported and presented ‘Look into my Eyes’ also, which is a Parent Day, by for and with parents.
She over 40 years of experience working as a clinical psychologist, a special educator, and as an infant mental health consultant with the Infant-Parent Program at University of California in San Francisco, The San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute, Child Development Program; California Pacific Medical Center, Child Development Center and in private practice in San Francisco and Marin County. Her many publications focus on diagnosis and treatment of autistic spectrum disorders, affective development, relationship-based intervention and the importance of family-provider relationships.
